The Board of Directors of Helvetic Trust AG is pleased to announce the appointment of Stefano Pierini to the Executive Management.
He assumes this position with immediate effect, succeeding Urs Frutig, who is stepping down for age-related reasons after successfully establishing and developing the Bern office. Mr. Frutig will continue to serve Helvetic Trust as a Senior Partner.

Stefano Pierini brings over 30 years of experience in the financial industry.
After completing his training as a banking professional at Schweizerische Bankgesellschaft (now UBS), he held various positions within the bank, gaining a broad foundation in banking and investment management. Following further training as an investment and financial advisor and a role as a portfolio manager, he spent many years advising Swiss and international private banking clients.
Starting in 1998, he joined the Benelux Team in Zurich, where he specialized in clients domiciled in the Benelux countries and, as Head of Department, built a strong network in Switzerland and the Netherlands. After 34 years with UBS, he joined Helvetic Trust in 2018.
Mr. Pierini is a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) and a graduate of the Swiss Finance Institute Executive Program.

Urs Frutig has played a key role in the successful establishment and positioning of Helvetic Trust’s Bern office as a member of the Executive Management in recent years.

With his extensive leadership experience—including as a member of the executive boards of listed banks and as CEO of a major financial institution—he has had a lasting impact on the development of Helvetic Trust.
